FINALLY..

Note: It's your choice whether you believe all the links/individuals I gave below. I am not forcing you to use them anyways. Thank you.

Sharing suppliers/sources is a really hard thing to do specially when you are having even a small profit out of it. But I think, it's part of growing up that you tend to lose interest in collecting KPOP Merchandise, you would start asking yourself like "What should I do with these after I start woking?" or "Is it really worth it that I  am spending tons of money out of this items just for fun?". As you grow up, you tend to be practical and that's when you lose interest in collecting.

But, long story short, this blog contains all the websites, persons or groups that may help you find all signed albums / polaroids or even personalized signed albums for less. Some people might react negatively to this but it's about time we give chance to others, there should be no one spending more than a hundred dollar for each of their collection.

1. BUNJANG

My own Profile in BUNJANG.

I know that a lot of people have heard about this website already but most of them does not know how they can contact the sellers. Bunjang is a really great website if you're trying to find cheap rare merchandise since they have most of it. From photocards to signed albums, you can get them all here. Most of the sellers here are legit since they are using phone number to register and they are only allowed to use their bank account to receive money, so nevertheless, people who scams here are easily identified by the company itself.

If you are going to use it for yourself or if you have your own account on the website, make sure that you know how to speak korean, even broken korean is fine as long as it's understandable. Because if koreans find you very hard to transact with, they will give you a negative feedback and that may affect your account standing.

As to other people who are trying to look for someone who can help them buy from this site, don't worry, I got you. I'll list down all the possible persons that may help you buy from them. Of course, some fees might apply but it's way better than spending hundreds of dollars to a korean who is greedy for money.. Ehem ~

2. JOONGGONARA/NAVER

What the site looks like
Now this website is way more unfamiliar with you than bunjang. This website is a lot more confusing and hard to use but this is where the all the treasures are hidden. This is where Dongchul (if you know him) usually gets his items for sale. As you can see in the screenshot I provided above, unlike bunjang, joonggonara doesn't show preview photos so you need to check the post one by one just to see what the hell are they selling if you can't read hangul that much.

To contact joonggonara sellers, they usually leave their Kakaotalk ID in the post or they will ask you to contact them directly through the website messenger. One of the negative factors in joonggonara is this place is not secured as bunjang since you're going to make transaction outside of the website and it will be really hard to track them. So make sure that the seller is a legit seller first or ask for an authentication photo of the item you want. But please remember that for koreans, once you've asked for an authentication photo, that means you are surely going to buy the item. Since they get mad easily when you backed out after asking for a lot of photos. Be responsible enough.

3. CHOI JEONGMIN (최정민)

Our latest chat when I was asking him if I can post him on this blog

For people that usually buys personalized albums from Christine Alisia, his name should be familiar to you. He supplies all signed albums and personalized signed albums. He might also allow you to order personalized Q cards sometimes. Please take note that his english is not that good so you need to speak slowly. Also, he doesn't have a lot of slot for personalized signed albums so it's in First Come, First Serve basis. What I love about Jeongmin is that he owns a paypal account and you can pay directly to him and he can ship out the items to you directly. I'll provide some photos of his signed albums and personalized signed albums for sale below.

.....

Maybe it's already normal to a person's life to feel like they were cheated. That feeling when someone have took over a place that was supposed to be yours. It's really frustrating that they do not know how much you've worked hard and how many things you are willing to sacrifice for that position. And yet they are giving it to someone else because they think that he/she is a lot more deserving than you. I do not want to hold grudges or rant but it's really too much for me to hold it in. I need an outlet for it. It really hurts so much. That feeling when it already feels like you already lose to someone even though the fight is not yet starting, that feeling when a lot of people around you are so into that kid and no one else is willing to help you.

I want to cry but my mind keeps knocking on my heart to not. Because when I cry, I'll show the weaker side of me and someone may take advantage out of it. People think I am humorous, they think I am happy and I do not have any problems of my own, but the thing is, I do not know how to process my emotions. Like when you feel defeated, would you show that you are weak? or would you show that you are mature and strong enough to hold it in? I do not know, i swear, my emotions right now is really out of control.

[04/13/2016] Jumbo Box Haul

I love buying items directly from korea, but customs tax is seriously a pain in the a**. Hahaha, Sorry for the term, but it seriously is. Imagine paying more than $100 in taxes in every box you received. I would humbly accept it if I were a seller or if I would gain profit from the items I bought but, these are mainly my collection! So asking for that huge amount of taxes is really stressful.

I tried to find a good way to prevent myself from paying those taxes and a friend of mine suggested to use LBC (A local courier service here in the Philippines). he told me that LBC opened a branch in korea and told me to try it out. I was a bit hesitant at first because I heard a lot of negative feedbacks from other filipinos about LBC. But somehow, due to curiosity, I end up using it.

What I love about this service is they don't care about the weight of your package, as long as you can fit he items inside the box then it's good. You need to pay them for the box and not by the weight of your items. For example, for a jumbo box like the one I've used, you're required to pay $105 in total. $105 is really reasonable considering that the package will arrive at your country 2-3 days after shipment.

Keeping my fingers crossed, i asked my friend from to korea to try using LBC service. I asked him to buy this and that from different korean stores, hahaha. I would love to put more items inside my box but sadly, it can't fit anymore. Well it can but it might turned out to be damaged when it reached me.

My friend shipped out the package on April 11, 2016 around 1:00 in the afternoon and that's when I started praying. Haha. I really did pray that my items would reach me safely and nothing along the way would harm them. I tried tracking the number that my friend gave me but the site told me that it's still pending and still waiting for update from the origin so I gave it a day.

Next morning, i tried tracking the item and I was surprised to what I saw, it's already in the Philippines! I was like, wth did just happened?? And the latest update was it was already forwarded to the nearest Delivery Hub in our place. I was freaking out, this is so amazing.

And around 5pm in the afternoon, an LBC personnel called me and told me that the package is already at the nearest branch near me (5-10 minutes drive) and is ready for picked up. I asked them if they can provide a door to door delivery and they told me that they can, but since it's already 5pm in the afternoon, they told me that they might deliver the box the next day and I told them that it's fine.

Around 10am the next day, a delivery guy knocked on our door and handed me my package. I was very happy at that time, i was wondering if they would asked for a tax but they didn't! They just asked me to sign a couple of things and then told me to enjoy my package.

I think I saved more than $100 in using this service. It's a really great experience for me and I'm pretty sure I would use this the next time I'm going to buy something from Korea again.

(For additional information about this shipping service, please don't hesitate to ask me on the comment section)

So what have I bought this time? Well, just a couple of this and that. Haha. More promotional signed albums and regular albums that I'm missing in my kpop collection. Here's some preview to the items I just bought. Excuse for my cute watermark ;) hahaha

[KDrama Review] SBS' Remember - War of the Son

If you're a great fan of thriller dramas with a pinch of romance and if you want to watch how humanity is so f****d up these days, "Remember - War of the Son" is definitely the kind of drama that you need to watch. The story is about Seo Jae Hyuk (Jun Kwang Ryul) being convicted of a murder that he did not commit. His son, Seo Jin Woo (Yoo Seung Ho), watches helplessly as his father is sent to prison and put on a death row. Using his super memory (a condition known as hyperthymesia that allows him to recall every detail of his life), Jin Woo becomes a lawyer so that he can someday prove his father’s innocence.

He reconnects with Lee In Ah (Park Min Young), the only person who was with him during the trial of his father which is now a prosecutor and she is determined to help Jin Woo. But things get complicated when Jae Hyuk develops Alzheimer’s disease and begins to think he actually committed the murder, and then Jin Woo starts to exhibit symptoms of Alzheimer’s as well, he needs to fight the clock and save his father's innocence before his memories fail him.

MALE LEAD

Yoo Seung Ho is defnitely one of my favorite actors so far and he once again didn't disappointed me with this drama. How can a 22 years old act so mature? I'm so amazed with his performance that I'm so into this drama that I even marked our calendar as to when the English subbed episode will be released, because trust me, you won't like to watch this without English subs because it is a heavy drama and you won't understand a thing if you don't fully understand the situation.

Get your tissues out because I'm pretty sure you'll cry with him in a lot of scenes in this drama. You can literally feel the sadness that he can feel everytime he cries and look at the screen with those do-ey eyes. You'll just feel the emotion and pain and it would just lead you to crying as to how fuc**d up and unfair his society is. So in regards with his acting, I think it's already obvious that he impressively did a great job portraying his character. But I can't give him a perfect score since I'm pretty sure there should always be a room for more improvement, I don't know how the hell he would still improve in this case but whatever, lol. He's just so great.

SCORE : 9.8/10

FEMALE LEAD

I've already seen a lot of drama where Park Min Young is the female lead like City Hunter and Healer. But I think this is where I loved her the most, well i love her character in healer but this one is remarkably great. She's not the typical female lead with cutesy and goofy actions but more of a serious and strong women. I think her charms have showed more in this drama.

I admit, I have a lot of hesitations with the pairing at first and I'm also worried that it might not worked since Park Min Young is like 5 years older than Seung Ho, but surprisingly, it worked well! I don't know why but I'm beginning to like the dongsaeng-noona relationship, haha. Well she doesn't looked like a noona anyways, they look like same age friends to be honest. Nevertheless, Park Min Young also gave great justice to her character, from the way she acts to the way she speaks using her eyes, it's really a great and refreshing performance from her.

SCORE : 9.5/10

THE SUPPORTING CHARACTERS

I don't really have a problem in regards with the supporting characters, from Jin Woo's father down to the rough lawyer and thug leader with a heavy Kyungsangdo accent everyone successfully gave justice to their desired character. Special mention to Nam Gyu Man (Nam Goong Min) the king of psychopaths, lol. I call him the king since he's the best antagonist I've ever seen in my life. Hahaha. I can't even forget his character in "The Girl Who Sees Smells" eeeehh. So creepy. hahaha, and as per usual, he gave us a great performance in this drama as well.

SCORE : 9.5/10

THE STORY/PLOT

The story is really great and when I say it's great, I mean it's really well-done. Personally, what I love about "Remember" is that they didn't emphasize the romance that much, I'm not sure if I am anti-lovers or what but I'm just so sick of seeing dramas emphasizing the romance so much that it's becoming too cheesy for me. A few scenes of romance is already great and that's what this drama have done.

They're focusing the whole drama in the real problem but they always create scenes with decent and tender love. I think for the whole 15 episodes, I didn't even see any kissing scenes, and sometimes when they're like in a heavy situation or they're giving each other motivation, instead of kissing out of no where, they will just give each other a hug. A hug where you can literally feel the 'real' and 'tender' love.

This drama would be one of my favorite dramas of 2016 alongside Reply 1988.

SCORE : 9.5/10

THE ENDING

It feels like the ending was specially made for me. Haha. I'm not being a sadist but I really don't like romance. Well the ending still has a little bit of romance but it's not overdone. This is drama that I've been looking for. You don't need bunch of classic romances or comedy to make a perfect drama, but more lesson that taught you how unfair life is. The way they showed how some of the characters have no choice but to be greedy, how they reacted to unfairness things especially to jinwoo, these are what I've been lookin for. I cried almost every episode, but I realized there are many, real jinwoo out there. People who faced injustice. This is a big slap for everyone especially those who works especially in law world, I wish they could watch this masterpiece and realize how the law could ruin someone's life.

There are so many veterans who suffer from ptsd, alzheimers, etc... and korean entertainment strikes an intellectual chord with these very sensitive issues that have often been skirted under the table that have led to homelessness, suicide, depression or worse. traumas in a life are REAL, and the mind is a powerful survival mechanism.

Thank you for those who involved in this beautiful masterpiece, this is definitely my best of the best drama I've ever watched. The ending is perfect, I know it's possible for jinwoo to get healed but I'm relieved they made the ending in such a good way. I thought I would be happy when nam gyu man died, but I don't know why I cried for him for the first time. It hurts, to be abandoned by the one he trust and love the most. But since nam gyu man did many unforgivable things, I guess it is necessary to make him accept his punishment for everything he did. Big applause to nam goong min, Yoo seung ho, park min young and park sung along who portrayed their characters well. I'm
looking forward for their next drama. fighting!!

SCORE : 9.5/10

FINAL VERDICT

SCORE: 9.8/10 - TOTALLY RECOMMENDED DRAMA.
